When the homeowners began this kitchen remodel process, they were looking to redesign and completely reinvent their “builder grade” kitchen. Nothing was broken necessarily, but they never liked the design and the materials were lackluster. Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. was enlisted to transform the kitchen into the owners’ dream cooking center. The final kitchen features top-of-the-line finishes and appliances including separate refrigerator and freezer units by Sub-Zero, a 48” dual fuel Wolf range with integral grill, a custom stainless/oil-rubbed bronze hood, Bosch dishwasher with custom cabinetry panel, and a Sharp microwave drawer. Additionally, there were a few “his” and “her” requests for the new kitchen. For her, it was important to methodically plan each and every cabinet to include rollout shelving, toekick drawers at the island, and legs that flank the range and include narrow storage, among other items. For him, great appliances were a must-have so he could put his cooking and entertaining skills to use.
In today’s post we would like to share one of the company’s latest work, especially developed for a residential project in Woolacombe, North Devon. The Outlook Curved Bespoke Kitchen features an elegant dining table with unconventional seating units integrated in an oval kitchen island. There is plenty of storage space available in the cupboards (including inside the kitchen island/seating combo), most of which is cleverly hidden away from sight. Generously-sized windows allow natural lighting inside, which contributes to an overall warm ambiance. The color palette in white and gray is tastefully disrupted here and there by powerful hues; take the green armchair for example, which adds an interesting traditional vibe, perfectly complemented by the entrance cabinet in matters of style.
In our never ending search for quality design ideas, we stumbled upon some amazing ideas about how to integrate a kitchen in a living room. Logos is where we found the “Cooking and Living” project, which unites several unique ideas about interiors that combine the two. The project below was created for a family of four. Eli, Richard and their two kids wanted a special apartment, with spacious rooms, large access to the kitchen and the possibility to keep an eye on the children while having coffee for example. Which is why the designers came up with the perfect blend: a kitchen integrated in a living-room. We hope you will take a look and agree that this is a perfect fit.
